Hi Guys,ej25 engine change

Am expereincing the standard overheating issues with ej25 in 95 grandwagon,

I am looking to exchange with another ej25 but am also curiuos as to what else will fit with a minimum of fuss,bolt straight in would be preferable.Ej22 springs to mind,

Anyone else tried this?

An EJ22 would be niiiiice, certainly an assload more reliable. No idea the specifics of the swap, but i would assume at least an ECU to match.

I have heard of it being done,no change of computer,there is issue with single and dual port exhausts matching up depending on the year of your donor engine,im seriuosly looking into this because i love the subys but strongly dislike overheating on a long trip,thanks.

mmmmm why down in HP/torque

are the 2.5's really that bad

would u need to get it certed(i know u have to do it for the other way round)

Im sure what they dont know wont hurt them,suby powerplants are a much of a muchness from the outside.

I did the head gaskets in two 2.5s. Bloody gay.
