transmission swap

Hello all, have two bg5a legacy's ones a 1994 gt wagon and the other is a 1996 brighton 220 wagon just wondering if I can take the transmission and torque converter out of the brighton and put it into the gt? also does any one know which torque converter would be the higher stall one of the two? thanks.

the na autos and the turbos autos are no different its just the diff ratio you have to get the same

I can use the back diff off the Brighton too cause mine whines abit so now the ratios will work, what about the torque converter and the electrics?

Around 200k's the clutch pack starts to give.

what about diff ratios and stuff could i get better acceleration by having a different front diff but standard rear or vise versa?

You could have broken bits- don't mix 'n' match with ratios or it'll either simply not work- or kill it all. You're best to. Find the ratio of your current auto box, and find another one like it(same code) and you'll have a relatively hassle free replacement.
