Boost 15 psi is normal ??

Hi guys, just gt my wrx v5 few weeks ago, it has now pod filter and downpipe aftermarket, today i just fit my boost gauge and when i put my foot down come on 15 psi, is that right?? ive heard that the factory boost is 12 psi, but im not sure if this information is right, also as i have downpipe and pod filter, does those things can bring boost up ??

yes increasing more flow will raise the boost abit, if you don't have a manual boost controller you should get one and set it at 16psi then you can't go wrong

FYI my boost cut V5 non sti with TD04 was 14.5ish psi with a pod and 2.5" catback. Stock 12psi ish.

today i realized my clutch is starting to slip on full boost, so asi have to change it, i was thinking to put a flywhell on it, does anyone know a good flywheel not so much expensive ? should i put standart clutchor heavy duty ? soon i will boot up my car to 18 psi ( remapping )

Go heavy duty At least 3500lb of clamp...A good clutch company will rebuild your current clutch and reface the flywheel if its not badly cracked.

Estimate around $1100 for total job....Can do at that cost...Auckland area

Factory (STi) clutch will be fine for factory power - even more.
