manual, 236 KMs

cant wait to tinker, really want to fit my v7 STI rims though

dunno what to do with the BG (single turbo with STI engine etc, blown big end), might part it out or sell as a unit

They are a good car I been looking for one but don't have the cash,

I have a parts book and a crap load of parts if you need anything

There was a set of 15" leone rims on trade me last week these are nigh on impossible to find, it will be very very difficult to fit impreza rims to it , also getting any after market springs are impossible.

yea, i have owned two of them YEARS ago

Not sure you will use less fuel, I know my Rx is not that efficient ( maybe because it is running a big bore and 15 psi and I drive it like I stole it . )

redrill hubs to 139.7 x6 and run hilux etc wheels, they easy to find

They already run 140 x 4 so 2 of the holes already match, so your choices are to drill 2 holes in the rims OR drill 4 in the hubs, I have a set of front hub almost redrilled

so if you did the 6 stud idea, cud you get the v7 rims drilled to 6 stud too?

If they have enough room for another 20mm drilled out of the centre each side, and then room for the lug holes.

It's possible, but unless you smoothed them off and repainted/powdercoated they'd look ugly.

yea right.. well i cud get the old holes smoothed and powder coating is dirt cheap (here any ways) so maybe thats a thought?

Is there room for that grinding out in the centre before the lug holes? You might wanna make some measurements first.

Yea I got those 15s, superlites, so stoked they look sick on the coupe compared to the 13s, hurt the wallet tho

Oh you got them I bet they do look nice, so wanted them but oh well, at least they gone to a good home

Gazzy the fitting of the impreza rims will be a headache, best bet would be finding a set of XT6 hubs as they are already the right stud pattern AND fit the leone struts, failing that you can try to redrill the leone hubs BUT the difference in PCD will be the issue. I have thought about mixing and matching the later model drive flanges to the Leone hubs, only issue i could see is the brake rotors not lining up then having to make adapters for the calipers ( would fit some bigger brakes at the same time as the brakes aint to good when slowing from 200 Km/hr)

Looking at the picture, it looks quite high does it have the air or hydro suspension ?? ( will be a height control button on the dash )

yea, there is a button on the dash.. i'd say its all buggered now though ay

i am really looking forward to gutting the interior and steam cleaning the lot!!

will source all the small interior bits n bobs... replace and fix it all!

first thing will be radiator removed to be flushed professionally (like i always do) will do thermostat too.

Will tint windows aswell

will remove cat converter and fit a big bore too LOL

Hard to tell it is quite high so it may be stuck on the HIGH setting, but usually if it is the air controlled one then by now the bags are buggered and she would be sitting on its arse.if it is the hydraulic system then it may just be a fuse... I have a full hydraulic setup for one of these here, was thinking of putting it in the RX once i lower it so i can pump it back up for the extra clearance

you will have to get the big bore made as there is no off the shelf solutions for these and the turbo is different enough that a rs one doesnt fit ( I made my own )

Or you could do what my dad had to do years ago with a leone when the wiring got melted(can't remember the cause) but anyway he re-loomed it with green wire, cos that's all the wire he had ;D not doing anything cruel like that?

hey the gearbox in this leone is a tad sloppy.. is that just the linkages that wear or more internal?

then yeah i would check the linkage crosses near the gearbox ( similar to the legacy ones )
