lost my power steering while adrift ??? hows that happen

ok so this is the deal i was in a parking lot ( yes it was closed and i was entitled to be in it, and dont condone going into random parking lots)... so back to the issue

i had setup a gymkhana course and was doing some filming.. i was doing a drift at moderate revs and had the steering wheel almost at lock and did some slides and what not next thing i know i have no power steering at all.. when im stopped and try to turn its hard as shit than if i rev it a bit it makes a wild noise kinda like a belt whine and steering starts to move a bit... a little easier but not much when actually driving it feels kinda normal at speed

so not sure what that is and not sure what to check

any help would be much appreciated thanks

replace with a known good one

most pumps do not like big rpm, while being held on lock

Often cause fluid boil or seal failure

hopefully you just boiled the fluid and you can just top it up and leave it idling to bleed up
