Check engine codes simple DIY fix or not?

Check engine light lit up and its showing 12, 21, 32, 33..

12 Starter switch or circuit

21 Coolant temperature or circuit

32 Oxygen sensor or circuit

33 Vehicle Speed Sensor or circuit

just want to know if theyre a easy DIY fix, or should i take it into a shop cheers.

maybee reset and see if appears again before doing anything

if it driving ok? at least two of those use the same power feed, i\'d start by replacing the ECT sensor as its the cheapest then reset the codes and see how it goes.

does the car drive ok? or is it maybe using more gas than normal?

what model car?

I reset\'d it, then connected the green too do the diagnostic test then disconnectd those and plug the black ones back together and now just consistanly flashes does that mean theyre cleared ?

Jokes, flashing 21 Coolant temperature or circuit again.. and now the radiator stays running as long as the cars on ? Easy fix ?

Like the radiator fans? Thermostat, sounds like. I\'m not entirely sure, but worth a check.

Yeer radiator fans just start running as soon as i turn the ignition to "ON" ,reckon its that thermostat oa temp sensor itself ?

well; if you take out the thermostat, pop her in a cup of boiling water, and it doesn\'t open, she\'s poked and you need a new one.

thermo sensor issue - its in memory !

Fan will run continuously if this code is logged as a fail safe, and ecu assumes engine temp @60 deg, which often causes hard start when cold too

Thermostat will be fine - unless you have overheat issues or trouble getting engine up to operating temp

Just replaced the water temp sender, coolant temp sensor and thermostat and now the temp gauge goes over halfway lyk 3/4 and hangs around inbetween 1/2 and 3/4 of the gauge..?

ill say after 10mins driving the temp starts to peak up..

But it sits between 3/4 and 1/2 right?

primarily just above halfish? that\'s where mine sat, but had no anti freeze/anti-boil in it yet.(2 years of inactivity lol)

if that operating temp worries you, I\'d suggest(if you haven\'t already) a coolant flush, and check your oil and it\'s levels. anti-freeze anti-boil helps keep everything at a medium temp, so effectively car runs cooler. (if i\'m wrong here please correct me, I\'m in no way an expert just operating under my understanding)

lol so its just reading wrong ? it sorta drops down when i play around with the a/c and im getting heat from it too..

I unplugged the temp sensor just to keep the radiator fans on because i tried reving the car up til they turn on and they ddint , even though the temp gauge was way over halfway
