i think i need some insight. sorry.i did one donout and then it cut out and since then its just been weird

.lol, i dont think ive broken it but - erm, its runs normal, cept it wont boost. it cuts out at 4000, runs normal apart from that the revs are dropping and it cuts out it not given gas, the check engine light is on.

I would start with an ECU reset. I think from memory its battery unhooked for 12-24 Hours?

To those more knowledgeable could the ECU detect fuel surge/shortage and put it in limp? I have seen a few cars have the lack of fuel issues when doing Helis and the OP does mention doing a "donut".

Replace your AFM.

Well i should say check that at least.

The last time old legacy had that issue it needed the afm replaced only.

If check engine light is on, then check what code it is saying?

Could be AFM fault

Could be a hose blown off

Could be BOV stuck open

thats why you check codes for ecl, so you dont do shit you dont have to, and to be honest I doubt that is the fault, cheers for you input the code will tell all and will post it tomorrow

afm was replaced, cel code was 23, did rest, cel went away, took for drive hit 4k cel light back same code, told him to get another afm as the 1 he put in must of been frked too, dccd is also flashing a green light on bottom of its thing would this mean any thing

Not really if cel is on it will go into limp wont it? Dccd has its own light as above

what is 23 for?

I know on my v5 when it was running the factory ECU I had codes for AFM and they ended up being caused by a faulty engine coolant temp sensor, as they share the same power feed
