Tender Springs

Anyone else running them? I don\'t mean keeper springs that collapse when you putweight on them, I mean proper tender springs like 4kg/mm or higher.

I just put them in the front of my car, with a 10kg/mm main spring. Tenders are 4.68kg.

So lush compared to every other set of coilovers I\'ve experienced, including these ones without tenders. Cats-eyes no longer feel like hitting a kerb. Still corners like it\'s on rails. Mucho goodness. Next up is putting them in the rear as well.

Caveat, this is on a set of somewhat badass ultra high-end coilovers which may be why it\'s good....

They must be quite short are they?

I was thinking about running softer springs but they might be a better idea

Race spec suspension isnt it set up by macbilt? So theyre the same as keepers but way stiffer? So they work on little bumps then when you hit a big un it uses the main spring. Correct?

Hasn\'t been to Macbilt yet... figured I should get it in the ballpark first re. Spring selection etc.

And yeah works basically as you said. Small spring handles little bumps, hit anything big or get any significant body roll going on and the little spring goes flat letting the main take over.

Now that all 4 corners are in it\'s excellent. Close to factory comfort at 100kph.

Shocks are some overkill Ohlins 3-way damper adjustable with external canisters and the whole 9 yards.

Ex-GC8 racecar but due to the GDB\'s extra few hundred kg they work nicely turned to fully soft.
