Best you can do is learn from the situation and invest in a steering wheel lock, saved my old WRX when F*cktards tried to nick it. Cant drive with no steering wheel.

It takes approximately 15 seconds to hacksaw through a steering wheel. They\'re not made of hardened steel like the locks.

Less if you have an 18v sabre saw.

But i don\'t think many thieves carry around hacksaws. Well the one that tried to take my car didn\'t luckily.

They would have to be targeting your car and know exactly what they need before hand I would think.
