How to read fault codes??

Legend! The side facing the engine bay was plugged in, but other side of the module wasn't ;) So that solves my loose connector, but the CEL light is still on and still won't fire/start.

So we fixed the ignition fault then ??? as it now tries to fire

Have you cleaned the plugs? fouled plugs can do many different things

If plugs dry and clean then yes cambelt is next check

Checked belt timing, crankshaft was 90 degrees out of time because I lined it up using the arrow on sprocket, not the line!! Dumbass. So now she fires up sweet, idles real rough but I think this is due to the fact that I havn't got the AFM measuring the intake properly as I'm waiting for a 90 degree silicon bend (I upgraded from a TD turbo to a VF22).

But I still have another problem, my oil filter has no oil in it which must mean theres no oil circulating around the engine, right? Keeping in mind the engine has only been running for a total time of around 15 seconds or so. My first and obvious guess is the oil pump, as I did pull this apart. Anything else I should check before I pull that off?

Cheers for all your help!!

Possible missing o'ring on pick up pipe

No oil in engine

Incorrectly assembled pump

Did you watch the oil pressure light when you started the engine?

15 sec can be enough to damage bearings , esp as you have been winding this over for some time to get it going !!!

I didn't pre-oil the oil pump when I reassembled it - oops!! Going to pressurise the oil galleries now with a machine from work, hopefully that'll sort it. Will keep you updated..fingers crossed!

Pumped oil thru the galleries til it was coming out one of the bungs under the oil pump and also coming out oil filter. Started engine but no oil pressure. Put a pipe onto a gallery at the back of the block and no oil comes out whatsoever.

Just got the pump off. I had the gears with the dots facing out (facing backwards when mounted on engine). But the gears are dry, obviously when I pumped the engine with oil it didn't reach the gears. So if I pack the gears with assembly lube (grease) I should be sweet right?

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
