number 10 hose

Heyya theres a vid on youtube of a dude blocking the 'hose number 10' feed that goes somewhere in front guard behind the battery (twin turbo legacy) and seems to then get 16psi.

Does anyone know what hose number 10 does/ why you ge more boost.?

That mod disconnects the primary turbo boost control solenoid. That vid and mod, basically causes primary to free boost.

TT runs two diff boost levels. 9 or so for primary only, and 16 or so when both are running.

when the wastegate opens on primary only i believe its vacum controlled, and when its on both its the spring? all you are doing is bypassing the vacum control.

however, i'm pretty sure the primary is not designed to run at 1bar all the time. Guess subaru's thinking was that you'll be on both far less than you are on the primary.

the above is just what i have been led to believe on the internets and is probably completely wrong!
