solid gearbox mounts

hey guys. gearbox mount in my rs seems less than adequate. need to upgrade. anyone selling solid ones? i know gotasuby was selling something along those lines but i just cant find the thread

I have a hardrace gearbox mount for sale for a 5 speed gear box from my wrx in good condition, can\'t see why it wouldn\'t work if you have a 5 speed in your car.

Not listed anywhere just sitting in my garage at the mow. If your interested pm me.

I was after something a tad more solid than factory. Factory design isn\'t too flash

STI ones a lot stronger than wrx different design in the way the rubbers cast. Solid or urethane for the win tho like youre after.

Like the right one Sir Tobigtoshareyourknowledge? I could move my stock like the left one by hand the sti one same style as the one on right was a lot stiffer.

My stock mount is like the one on the right, and it\'s bloody soft.... though obviously harder than the one to the left

Yep obviously not as hard as forementioned stiffys tho. I felt the difference changing mine was a fluke I noticed it though it was just on an STI box I put in.

evowrx the sti mount is no where near the same hardness as the hardrace one. I have had both in the car.

I will admit though the sti mount is a lot harder than a wrx one as in your photo.

Do the solid mounts increase the gearbox whine like solid shifter bushings do?

Yip that was my point being that the original should be stock RS so STI would be an upgrade tho not as much. I think OP got it which is where it was pointed. Stand corrected if not but when I posted last time about it quite a few people had no idea.
