No dash/tail/park lights - evo/gsr.

Recommended Posts

Not the best forum to ask but some smart cookies here.

Missus CD5A 1994 gsr has no tail/dash illumination/park bulbs. The headlight high icon/hazards/headlight high - low/reverse work. The cluster illumination just died a while ago while driving so picking the rest of the lights are on the same circuit and died at the same time for same reason.

Tried a spare cluster, both were working fine so its def a car issue and all bulbs are fine. Ive checked the fuse box and theyre also fine and correct. Ive checked the stop tail socket just no power on the tail but stop circuit is fine so must be on the positive side Im guessing.

Any ideas be greatly appreciated before spending monies with an auto elec.

Could possibly be the earth is not connected. I had this issue with a previous car same things not working wasn\'t a Mitsubishi tho but the earth had been disconnected when installing a head unit which stopped the things you described working

Will do shortly. Was it a fusible link or blade fuse? Ive downloaded what I think is a diagram of the engine box as its import but need to mish out to the garage to check. Havent been too stressed as it never gets driven but need to pull wrx off the road so it needs to be going so we have a wag lol.

Yeah I can\'t help at all but the interior illum circuit and tail lights are joined on mitsis

I have been informed a few times "oi you have no tail lights" after managing to blow fuses with dodgy boost gauge light wiring etc shorting together

Has a 0.3A drain on the central locking/radio circuit different circuit to dash bulbs. Looks like thats why its bloody hard to start sometimes. Batteries on calcium charger see what happens. Changed battery out and has all lights working that werent... Could be intermittent or voltage related - we shall see.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
