Legacy GT BP vs Spec B Suspension vs STI

Hey Guys

Anyone got any facts about the Spec B suspension vs STI and the standard BP GT legacy?

Had quite a nice drive out to clevedon\brookby and back home last night, its fair to say I made swift progress and on the way back an orange Aston Martin Vantage merged in front off making a lot of norty sounds and then he was gone, obviously I did not know the roads that well and wanted to keep my licence.

Anywho I am quite happy with the ride quality of the car I am sure on a track day it wont be suited but in the real world it deals with bumps well its only the roll that\'s an issue so will upgrade the sway bars hopefully in two three months.

Swaybars are one of the best things you can do to a subaru imo.

Spec b just means bilstein, but most gt bp have bilstein anyway. Sti usually means springs but you can get genuine sti struts but they are mega $. Sway bars are awesome in bp legacy. I\'ve done most suspension things you can to a bp and sway bars are best I would say. Followed by antilift kit with good wheel alignment.

Yes will get sway bars for sure, called around and trying to get the non adjustable ones as I doubt I will tweak them once fitted. cheers.

they are the same cost, and get the adjustable ones and just put them on hard, its much better

What size bars jase?

BSF30Z and BSR39Z.

yeah its changed the car for me, and when i finally put them on hard it was much better.

Good to know. On GF8 I found with the stock bar up front and the rear 22mm adjust on hardest setting it felt almost 4WS ish. Middle setting is perfect.

Fitted my whiteline rear sway bar. (Thanks AJ for arranging and fitment, straight up cat). the difference this mod makes to a standard legacy GT is just amazing, I really did not expect this good of a result. Where the rear felt light and wafty on the twisty stuff this has all gone away. I can actually feel the rear end connected and when you really go hard I can feel when its giving away slowly. Thanks for the advise here guys. Track day this Saturday so will be welcome mod.
