another cel 66.. halp?

a few months back QIK_KAS's 94? TT wagon developed a cel66 and i spend a few days pulling all the vac lines out and cleaning everything i could get to. i never experienced the issue and its been working fine until today

cel is on and engine will cut as soon as *any* boost is developed. engine is smooth off boost. the cutout is very abrupt and quite violent when in gear.

the engine will rev all the way to redline in neutral with very little throttle, as long as your not making any boost. wot at this point just kills the engine till the revs fall past 3k where it picks up and repeats. kinda like a speed cut. i assume its pulling the spark.

this must be a limp mode but its pretty difficult to drive. apparently turning off the car resets the cel and its fine until the problem re-occurs.

any ideas? im guessing maybe the differential pressure sensor or map sensor.. knock sensor is a possibility but you would expect a knock cel.

oh, apparently coasting downhill in gear is what triggers the cel and resulting limp mode.

weird. anyone struck this before? im going to have another look at it tomorrow night

As for an ASK ICHI, No thanks - there are too many know it alls about here, just waiting for 1/4 of a chance to flame me for incorrect wording

It's so hard to diag cars over the www. This is where many heads are better than one - ( different ways of reading a post )

Hmm. Exactly that happened to my car 6 months or so ago. Turns out that the bullet connectors on the ZS controller/ECU harness were not 100% seated and shorting out.

Unless Kas has a ZS controller, it could be something electrical? either a short or perhaps moisture in around the ecu area.

Unlikely, but another angle nonetheless.

66 is effectively ecu loss of control over system ( it's vac operated for the majority of systems )

Any sensor ie pressure differential , exh change over solenoid etc etc will all log individual codes

Where as 66 is the entire system

Your ZS fault would have been alowing primary turbo pressure to be incorrect

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
