vac/boost hose 16 help plz

hi, i was wondering what importance is hose 16? i have no boost and checked everything. i throw code 66. so i am working on that at the mo.

now hose 16. i took car to an auto sparky, and he plumbed hose 16 into secondry bov. is that normal. can anyone plz shed some light. thank you.

i will put some photos up later so you can get an idea of what i mean.

Secondary BOV is usually hose 8 from memory.

I have a TT diagram at work, can check it on monday for you.

Unfortunately my diagram doesn't show a hose 16. Is yours one of the early twin turbos with wastegates on both turbos??

This maaayyyyy help. Looks like a secondary wastegate setup to me.

Boostin, you know if the later (post 96) EJ20H's in the auto's had the VF13/14?

Might want to check one day that it all lines up, it's proven a winner for me though.

At a quick glance at that diagram.. top left 'boost controller' is actually the differential pressure sensor
