Putting a pod filter in my car

Hey guys i have a 03 legacy GTB BH5 i want to put a pod filter in it,i noticed that the sensors are connected to the airbox which would need to be removed to install the pod,What would I need to do or buy to get round this?.Hope my question is clear bit of a noob with this sort of thing cheers Dan

Stick with the factory box,its there for a reason. Take it out and your just sucking hot air from the engine bay

If you have a kit it should just bolt to the afm no need to remove wires...

Take out one headlight, put the filter there! ;D

Cut out the bottom half of the air box, same noise

To run a Pod filter on it you would have to remove the whole Air box, Buy a Air flow Sensor pipe then run your pod of that. Also it would have to be a Mushroom type pod as the cone ones would be to big to fit. Hope this helps

Don\'t do it Dan.

BH/BE TT are prone for throwing AFM. Pod Filters don\'t help AFM at all with Vibration etc.

Your OEM Panel Filter flows more than enough for your Engine. Plus as said its getting Cold Air. A Pod will only suck hot engine air in, unless you go to the expense of fitting a Cold Air Box.

Possibly causing Pinging/Det issues on a hot day because our cars don\'t run an Air Inlet Temp Sensor.

Avoid Oiled Filters, they\'ll coat and kill your AFM.
