Changing the Turbo should be a piece of cake. Real Simple job your car. ;) Have a look through the For Sale Section for a replacement Turbo. Good chance for an Upgrade?

I\'ve done a lot to get if fix but that the moment it just the turbo buy the sounds of what I\'m told for a wof it just needs a few small thing and rust and the CPU is from the standard sti

If you want info I have a P20 I can measure tonight. CHRA seat is identical on VF22/23/24/28/29/34/36 with P18/20/25 maybe others but def not VF30/37 with their funny ones or VF35 with P16.

If turbos off just check in the inlet of turbine housing it will have the number.

Not hard to get 20psi out of a VF#anything circa 3.5k on 2.0 so idiotic engine choice for anything with more displacement. The turbine wheel is shit on IHI for making massive power it limits you to under 250wkw on a seriously good setup. Most make 230wkwish with maxed injectors around the 6k mark.

I would bet if you bolted a decent turbo on it more matched to the engine it would make it more reliable and safe while making more power at lower boost/IAT/EGT/EGBP/stuff that matters. Also a tuneable ecu would be wise considering your engine is way out of wack for the stock sti ecu. May be safe but unless you bolt it to a dyno and check knock/afr you dont know for sure and wont be near max potential.

The power figures for the VF stuff on the internet are fairy tales. Ive run a VF28/22/23/36 all s/s all nice street turbos but not built for 400m stuff or big displacement. But any of those turbos should see you into a high 11 with mental driving.

400fwhp yes 450fwhp cant see it.

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
