GC/GF Rear Bumper Question

Does anyone know if there is a difference between GC & GF rear bumpers?

Also is there a difference between the versions? V1/V2, V3/V4, V5/V6

Previous owner of my car backed into something and put a dent/crease in the bumper and i want to replace it and have it sprayed along with my boot lid that has peeling paint (probably from the reversing incident)

There is one on trademe locally but it's off a version 2 so not sure if they are the same..

So not interchangeable I take it?

cant say/see why not, my only experience is with BG/BD's visually, google image search GF/GC arses? or park next to one?

Ive been trying to find a rear bumper for my v6 and was also told the GF was different to the GC.

I've got a wagon bumper on my gc, exactly the same, the v2 had a different style bumper to the later v5's etc but it's only a cosmetic difference with a defined "bumper" strip on the early bumpers. the later style bumpers look a little nicer IMO but any gc\gf bumper will fit any gc\gf in my experiance

This, i took a bumper off a GF for my GC and fits perfectly, so just need to match the version, i think 1 and 2 are the same, then changes for 3 etc.

i have a v3 white bumper here just needs a small repair on one side where previous owners wheel damaged it, can have it dirt cheep, will post a pic if your interested

+1 to the above, it's v1/2 rear bumper then goes to a smoother facelift rear bumper for v3+ model. It's the one bit everyone generally forgets to do when doing a facelift of a v1/2 model.

oh, well that makes my job of finding a new rear bumper a bit easier then.

now to find one in silver...
