What Make Tyre???

Looking to replace my tyres on my S-GT. they some standard with 205/50/17.... the roll is horrendous :-(

What would you change them to? Make / Size? ....and low road noise :-)

For the size you must check your wheel to get the right size. What is your wheels specs? With 205/50/17 I think your wheel is 17x7 aye.

If it is 17x7 you can get 225/45/17 for wider tire but it is a bit too width for your rims. Otherwise just get a set of 205/50/17

Using 215/45/17 will get the inaccuracy speedo imo

The real question is whether marky mark can be trusted with that kind of power, will he use it for good or evil..

Happy Boy this morning.... It was like driving a different car to work this morning. My first 12k's to the Motorway is a windy road, not that I'm a speedster, but could go round the bends a little faster without being forced over the lines with the give in the sidewall of the old tyre...and I can finally hear my music without turning it up to 20 :-). Although the other tyres were new and on the car when I bought them, they were crap... So if anyone is thinking of buying a budget "performance" tyre, don't get Evergreen!

As for the speedo readings, this was checked before I changed, as Sobanoodle says, not anything to worry about.
