Just spotted in the August issue of the Classic Car Magazine theres a feature on a 83 1800 GLF, page 86 (its the issue full of minis)

yes, they had alot of good things to say about it, its been in a car museum for a while now and it currently for sale in a taranaki car yard. The guy seemed to really enjoy the car despite it being auto and that he was a mitsi turbo fan back in the day.

Says its a sporty car and would make an ideal every day classic...

its essentially the same car as yours, except in red and automatic.

Ian_killa: That would be great if you could bring the issue to the next meet. I'll try and track down a copy myself beforehand though to save you the hassle. I thought ClubSub was just about WRXs and Legacys :-\ but It's not so thats great ;D (nothing against WRXs and Legacys, just that I don't own either). I never would have joined if you hadn't told me that old subarus were welcome too so thanks.

but yeh.... as I said the other night, come to the next auckland meet, and your car will attract alot of attention from the regulars, and you will find this is one of the most friendly car clubs around.... there are a few that like to stir things up but you get that in any club really
