He's thinking of the hi-lo as like a splitter(like in big trucks ya have a splitter on the gear lever to switch between hi- and lo of each gear) but these aren't the same system implemented they aren't for use like that I believe lo-ratio is for getting out of holes (the way I see it- shouldn't be used in higher gears) hi ratio is for going fast enough to not get stuck lol

The standard RX was dual carb, but to my knowledge was still only a 2 port head and had joined intake manifold. Darryn might be able to confirm. But thats an important looking motor.

Yeah already seen it, is overpriced by about 5k, very nice engine, but not 5 k worth.

yup my RX had dual carbs, single port heads, dual range partimes.

You can run the dual range like an 8 speed ( i do it for fun in the RX11) but the splitter is not a full gear so you dont get any real gains other than changing a shit load of gears

I run the RX in low around town and usually high on the open road, depending on the road though, the paraparas are low all the way as i get awesome accel out of corners

would like to know if it has been 4wd converted as well, as the GT is a factory FWD ( i know as I owned one for parts)

If not then good luck keeping tires on the front it would be the same as my FWD vortex was a hand full
