BE struts into BP

So I bought a set of springs and struts off trade me, the auction said 03 so I thought sweet will fit into my 03 bp no sweat. Then I released they were 03 be/b4 and I'm not sure they will fit?

 

Any ideas?

Rears will fit without swapping top hats, but yea fronts will need bp top hats

Just bumping this slightly so bh5 springs won't fit bl/bp shocks correct?
There is a set of bh5 springs and shocks I would like to buy, would the whole lot swap over or do I still need to swap front top hats?

They will. Hard to say what it's gonna look like as spring ratings will be different between the two. Might end up with a saggy bottom or the opposite.

Not sure if this helps, but had a quick look at what MCA say for springs on BE/BH vs BL/BP Legacy's, and they're the same spring rates.

One thing to take note of is that BL/BP Legacy's have less travel in their front suspension due to their front inner rear bushing being vertical, rather than horizontal like on the BE/BH.

Those are adjustable suspension springs aren't they? A bit different the way I see it. 

 

If you look a part list for STI pinks they have a whole bunch of different part numbers: sedan/wagon, 3.0/GT, 5AT/6MT etc.

Yeah true. But the fact they list the same spring rates for 3rd/4th gens says that you could probably get away with running either in either.

You get away with the same rated springs in adjustables because you can control the height, do not see the same happening with the fixed perch struts.
