afternoon guys.

i dont have a bov on my forester 2000. its just the stock one for now just wondering what type of bov i been looking at the gfb hybrid. but if you have any other ones i could look at that would be awesome thanks.

is it the facelifter modelwith the v7 setup or the older v6 style

that ill dictate what bov u can put.. but if u ok to do a bit of fiddling pretty much any bov can be fitted to be honest... the gfb ones will be bolt on so less hassle to fit

oh yeah mines just a 2000 s turbo. yeah dont mind having a play with it. just blocking up the pipes lol that will be a mish and a half

the gfb ones come with a bung i think ul find.

the 4-1 hybrid wont directly bolt up to the forester. but gfb def sell one that will, just look on their site

u used a deoderant cap and plugged the hole - fitted like a glove and once tight didnt leak..

yea bro if u keen to work it then just get any one and block the intake side and put it inline with ur factory one..

works sweet as for the sound anyway..

been like that on my old sti for ages and never misses a beat!!

yeah bro. the gfb hybrids are like 4 hundy. i would'nt mind a greddy trype s. awesome sound.

dont have to spend that much bro.. get a nice 2nd hand one and will do the trick easily bro..

done get the cheap copy ones like the ssq copy ones they leak like a old underwear hahaha

the early model foresters need a certain spring weight in the bov,otherwise they leak.

I dont know about 2000 onward.

Have had 3 different types on mine and all leaked. :'(

That included a genuine hks one off a v4 sti.

If you look at the prices,the forester ones are more expensive because they have a different spring.

ahh ok yeah like the ssq but ya need to buy extra stuff for it eh? like the fittings to bolt it to the intercooler.? ooo and car just ticked over to 100k need the big service water pump cam belt and all fluids and stuff. any ideas where to go?

i hav a greddy type rs in my 01 foz but bewarned you need new holes drilled and tapped to make it fit, when you purchase it you get the adapater plate, i had mine out on by mag and turbo and have no problems with it at all bloody nice sound

just serial the bov buddy.. easiest and best and wont leak..

have a greedy one on my old v6 and had a hks one on my 7 till fmic and that way it never leaked..

iv got a HKS SSQV for sale, has a complete bolt on kit for the SF5 forester, i want a gfb deceptor pro for my new setup so the HKS will have to go

you can also chuck in different fins to change the sound of it or just plumb it back if you want

just got me A GFB HYBRID..they had it for spesh on performance car mag and i rocked up too mag and turbo with mag in hand page ready for my discount...lol...the guy looked confused ...he didnt even know it was advertised at that price! got it for $360...normal retail $480..sweet!!...
