Rear Strut Brace - Wagon into Sedan

Recommended Posts

i got mine from a guy that had it on a sedan.. fits dandy as in my wagon eh..

They run on the same chassis so as far i understand they are identical.. as is the e underbody brace.. Mine came off a type R and fits directly onto my wagon.

Only thing with yours to be careful of is the V2 -> V4 changes if any - cant comment on that sorry

I thought thatd be the case.

Id assume if suspension from 1-6 fits then this will

The chassis is the same from start to then so should be sweet.

Knew the k brace will fit but cheers..

Least can test fit before buy/steal so thats alright

you should love the feel those parts give - made LOADs of diff in mine, certainly the K brace gives a big change in turn in

hey nt_a_foz im thinking about doing these but wasn't to sure if it would make much of a noticeable difference on the type r with it already being so stiff with the seam welded chassis. Could you post up your opinion once you've taken it for a drive through the windy's would much appreciate it. Cheers

You can feel the difference in an r putting a rear brace on.

But i don't think it made the car any faster thru the corners

IMO better things to do first

ARB / swaybars will do more than any strut brace will ever do. Front and rear both will make you faster.

Bet bang for buck.

Better pads / fluid

I like the brake brace - its worth it i reckon for its feel alone.

Camber adjustment front / rear

Swaybars might be the next hting i need to look into.

Getting some pads before the next track day.

And camber adjustment via adjustables so thats fine.

Cheers for that Qwerty handy info

^ Strut braces don't affect body roll

no but they help to reduce the body flexing which is obviously going to help round corners at speed, i think thats what hes getting at. strut braces are good at doing what they are designed to do, swaybars do a totally different job.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
