Right so gfs mates gota cz impreza.

The passenger side rear window doesnt go down with both the master switch or the door switch..

Figured must be the motor as all the otehr doors windows work...

Spent all arvo putting the motor in to find the farking thing dont work...

Any ideas what soever as to what it could be???

Can a fried door switch short out the circut ie cutting the link to front switch and preventing from going down??

Cheers

Bradley

If the front drivers block is unplugged, from experience all the door switches cease to function too... try another drivers door window control and see if that fixes it?.. Anything out of a mid 90's Impreza / Primera will work.

Yeah, whats your point?

id just suggested the same thing :D

it will tell you straight away whether its the circuit or the motor...

If it is circuit.. check the contoller in drivers door like hapoi said.. today i pulled my drivers door out and can verify that master switch kills the whole lot if uplpugged - maybe its that thats screwy.

No, you suggested a motor, which he's already tried and it didn't work. I suggested to try the other rear door switch as its free to try and easy to get out. It may well still be the master switch or a broken wire somewhere though.

Its often the switches Brad. You can very carefully dismantle them and clean the contacts inside to get them working again. Had this happen on nearly every Subaru that I've owned, my Mum has owned, my flatemates have owned and my friends have owned. Although just recently had one that had broken a wee plastic spike inside the switch so we had to drill it and put a small metal stud in it.

BUT if all the other windows are working on both the master drivers switch and door switches....

And this one wont work on either door or master would seem strange and highly unlikly the main switch was poked right???

And if the door switch was poked itd would work on the otehr switch or vice versa ??

The wiring for them is the most conviluted, spaghetti like pile of junctions etc that it wouldn't surprise me that one switch packing a sad could take down the operation of the window. I think that on my RS when I first bought it, it did something like the passengers window could go down (only controlled from main switch) but nothing could bring it back up except pulling the door off and putting 12v directly to the window motor.

It sounds like the main switch could be the cause (just the one controlling the passengers side window).

Its entirely possible it could be the master switch. It has a separate switch inside for each window.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
