Big Cruise and BBQ

I was talking to STI-Type R last nite and was thinking about some mean roads to go for a wee drive and as we have a large number of out of towners, i thought mmm where can we go and link them all up, and maybe have a bbq in as dissused in another thread.

so i was thinking, meet up at the antenna at the top of pine hill, then roll down the hill down maxwelton street onto patmos ave, then along malvern and up and over Leith Valley towards Waikari Road then up Taeiri Rd down Whari Flat road then along to outram (BBQ spot ??) then cut across the tairi to Law road up and over to Scroggs hill and back to town.

Dates and comments welcome.

Sounds good. Would be keen if my car is back on the road (expecting it back on thurs) . If you go up law road and over saddle hill opposed to scroggs hill we can keep our cars clean. Scroggs is a little rough at the moment with all the rain etc. $20 worth of petrol and $10 for food contribution - Sounds good to me ;D

I just checked out the route on Google Maps and it looks awesome! I'll just have to check with the missus to see when we're free and also fit the boost controller first.

went to bucklands crossing on sat it was an awesome place. would be good to go for a cruise there and have a we huss around the big open field they got there. just putting another option out there?

whats this field your talking about? last time my brother went for a 'wee huss' on a public field he ended up in court

its about 3 rugby fields square, is extremely rough, is ok if you wanted to do a few helis, mean bbq spot and good swimming and ok'ish for kids (prolly better than outram in that respect)

alos has prolly 5 k of shingle roads which last time i went were extrmemly rutted (almost as bad a whari flat on a good day)

It is a very cool place tho!

Yeah its good out there. Was up with ryan the other day and roads in pretty good nick you can easily travel the 5km of dirt at 60km/h without feeling too guilty for your car. 30 mins out of dunedin turn.

Lol i'm a sat only for me. Unless its next weekend in which case i have sat off. P.S. i would rather drive out with the crew rather than meet people out there?
