02 rsk b4 boost problem

I have just bought a rsk b4 and after buying the car which i asumed was 100% standard the 1st thig i fitted was a boost gauge and to my shock the car is only makin 6psi (8psi if i reali push hard) this reading is with both primary turbo only and with secondary turbo runing as well surely this carnt be right?? I have spent hours lookin over the engine and can not find a leek anywhere and am nw stuck on were to go next. Are there any common problems that anyone knows of??

99% sure it won't be leaking the boost off it just not making it !!

Check waste gate actuator for being siezed ( passengers side )

Check to make sure restrictor still in the hose on the primary turbo pressure take off port for wastegate acutator/boost solenoid

Check vac tube plumbing

Na dont think it can be afm as car drives like a new one!! only reason youd know it has low boost is coz of the boost gauge I think it may have sumthink to do wid wastegate as when i take the pipe of and go for a drive the boost gets up around 18-20psi so may be warn spring in wastegate??

Carefull there, that's enough boost to destroy a primary turbo

Think you might need to go see a Sub Tech and get this sorted !! ASAP

I have a similar problem with my MY01 STI. was running 1.42 kgcm and now only running 0.6 kgcm. Have been freshening up vacuum hoses (crusty and brittle) and now running like a bucket of ... Anyway which restrictor was mentioned? Could a photo please be posted as I am now sufficiently scared that I have biffed this. Cheers.

The line that goes from the compressor housing to a "T" piece has a resitrictor in it

If now you have changed the lines and haven't fitted the restrictor then this is your problem

If your have thrown out the old lines then not much we can do for you here

We have a NEW contender for MUPPET OF THE WEEK hahaha

I too had a leaky BOV apparently, or a dodge hose that was leaking on the secondary turbo so took it in to get it looked at, Mainly cause I had the check engine light coming on every time I went up my hill, Later on that turns out to be a O2 sensor.

Anyway coming back to the BOV took it into subspares in chch and they replaced the bov and a hose ( Because they tested them faulty ) and then replaced them with faulty parts. Argh.

Took it into Stubaru the next week to get the rear diff bushes done to it and he tested the secondary bov and hoses and said that they are still leaking. Argh FTL Subspares.

Well would like to report took my car to sub tech on thursday they had it for 2 day could find a thing wrong with it then just b4 i went to pick it up me and the sub tech took it for 1 last drive and to our suprise problem gone!!! Car is now back to full boost (15psi!!) drives like new! As to wat the problem was in the 1st place who knows??? ;D ;D

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
