Zerosports High Speed Meter?

OK We've got a hefty discount on these, limited to 8 total units left with Zerosports, so am putting the feelers out there to see what you guys think. The special is for the M/T option only, though there is an A/T option and I can ask for a better price on them also. Retail is 52000 Yen in Japan which (today) is $790 odd, plus shipping (and nasty Customs fees) - lets say up to $1000 landed. Our price for these would be near half that, $545

The meter is for BE/BH Legacy. 300km/h, 10,000rpm

Any feedback?

300km/h is a bit of an over kill. This wouldn't remove the speed limiter would it?
