just wondering how much it would cost to replace the right rear hub and suspension arm? seems like the parts from trademe are cheap as! but i dont think i have the experience to change it over myself.

I live out west mate, in Massey.. yeah i am pretty keen to get stuck in and do it myself just not keen on doing more damage than i already have hahah

don't be surprised to find your wheel / hub / shock / arms and rear sub frame are bent more than an alignment can remedy

I know of a bloody good mechanic that lives in the same suburb that might do it

just give it a go bro.. and anything you are not sure of just ask on here.. some mechanics will charge an arm and a leg for this job. when most of them just head to pick a part for the parts anyway

yep im deffinately going to have a crack at it myself.. all i need is socket set and wheel hub stands so shouldnt be to hard.. just replace all the buckled arms and get a mechanic to give it the OK and see how we go !! weird thing is my bonnet wont open.. seems jammed shut - could that be from the chassis being bent?

just don't buy a little socket set a 1/2 drive set will do the job and a strong arm, some of those bolts are mega tight.

The rear arms on those are a bit strange. Probably not something an amateur mechanic should or could tackle.

i don't see to many potential problems. if we were talking about an engine issue it would be a whole different story.. but its not.. so just take note were everything goes and a workshop manual would come in very handy maby try your local library.

I had a legacy turbo wagon that was dergd and was going to cost to much to put back on road..

so i set it up to free boost and for a bit i was running 4 space savers done the madest skids ever was probably boosting close to 30 psi to maby more it blew the gearbox and motor pretty quick. was a sh*t load of fun tho ;D

my mate took 2 wheels off my batty, both wheels still conncted to the hub and snapped thru the spokes, both tyres still inflated when we put them in the boot..hahahaha- wasnt larfing at the time,
