98 STI Brake prob.

Ok so,

Qykchk came home today and said that her brakes are shuddering.

Took it for a drive and yep they def are shuddering.

So question is,

What size are the disks for them?

I am going to get new disks and pads. Where would be best place?

So... you measure the disc to see if they're 294mm or 270ish ie 4 pot or 2 pot (assume 4 pot for 98 STI), then head down to BNT and tell them you want a pair of (2 or 4) pot Subaru STI front discs. It is that easy.

When you get the discs you measure diameter to be sure, and count the holes - 5 holes at 100PCD.

That's all you need.

Car is sitting up on jack stands in the driveway now. LOL.

Makes a change from having my BC dismantled in front of the shed.

Wonder how QYKCHK is gonna like driving my racecar to work tomorrow. ;D ;D ;D
