strut brace for legacy b4s

just woundering if any of the wrx or forester braces fit the b4 be5 legacys as i cant seem to find one any where iv asked a few performance shops and subaru them they all say they would have to import 1.

or do any of you have 1 that you dont use and are willing to sell

They do, I just couldn't tell you which model you need to look for.

The tricky part with the BE/BH Legacy's seems to be that the struts are very close to the firewall and the brackes on a lot of strut braces interfere either with the rubber seal that runs across the top of the firewall, or the firewall itself.

To get around that problem, Whiteline do a mid mount strut brace i.e. the brace kinks around the front of the intercooler instead of round the back.

I know Cusco makes one that fits round the back.

I tried to fit a GC8 carbon fibre brace to my B4 but as SpotMe said the mounts collide with the firewall. You could probably hack it to get it to fit but it was in tidy nick so I resold it

When i get a camera ill snap a pic of mine, unsure where its from or whats its off but it fits fine, ive never really looked hard at it cause it looks normal...

I used a BG/BD legacy brace on my BE

i finaly manged to get a nolathane 1 from work for $180 it comes round the front and fits but is real tight fit as in i have to bend it slightly to get it on is that ok? and the ruber around the scoop hits on it but the bonnet still closes fine might just cut the rubber abit
