Why not consider a build in Welly.....?

I can help you out, references available from Funkytown and anyone who has seen my project V5 coupe at the track

opps just read your after cheap.... sorry dont do those sort of jobs :)

Quality dont come cheap

It all depends on what you want done.

Do I need to assemble the rods, crank, block etc? And how complete does it need to be? Like would I be leaving it as a long block or does it need the cambelt and everything on too?

Decent build, and supplying you a engine ready to be fitted to car. ( full build )

This inc new forged CP pistons, forgded rods, genuine gaskets and bearings, new water pump, new oil pump, cambelt, tensioner and idlers

base porting of exhaust and knife edging intake ports, and baffling of std sump

$6000, this price is dependant on the state of your crankshaft

upgrade to Xdrilled factory crank will put cost at $7500

Camshaft upgrade additional $1500

Use of an external oil cooler is a MUST

This rebuild is is good for a reliable 250Kw+ all day long

6G!!!! but thats not bad i guess as my mate got a rebuild for 8900 lol. but i gota sort the cash first depending on what i want done like u guys said.

and that would be the block done im sure...apart from boreing it and shit to 2.2???

and for the heads i was thinkin of jus gettin a sti head in good cond...if it will fit??? and upgrade afm ecu and turbo...im not after much power atm. just wanna get a bit faster and a rebuild as im getin little signs of BEB havin a trip lol

You go and price up bearings & gaskets, cambelt, waterpump etc, oversize pistons after a cylinder rebore, add head and block machining costs, plus a grand or so labour, and it tallies up pretty quick.

If your crank is stuffed price that too, along with new rods. 6G is easy to spend.

yea i know it sure will tally up fast...im slowly looking into it. do youz reckon jus gettin a sti engine with low kms is worth it?? or forged rebuilt with yellow injectors, sti ecu and vf turbo etc.....

thanks what i gota do ta make up my mind first

o f*ck yea i know they know their shit lol...umm for your question boostin..i jus wanna daily driver...but at the same time have some fun on track days and shit. got a 14.43 at night wars last year. going for 4 n rota nats nxt wkend

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
