STOLEN: 1997 STi Sedan from Upper Riccarton/Sockburn area (Christchurch)

My flat was broken into saturday night/sunday morning 20-21/2/10 sometime between midnight and 2 am. Filthy bastards must have been watching and waited til we had all gone into town. My flat mates and I all had our laptops, iPods, etc taken, as well as all the meat from our freezer! and worst of all, They found my car keys and stole my car!

Its a silver 1997 version 3 STi sedan, reg plate EFK923

Standard apart from aftermarket exhaust and 17" chrome wheels

Could all the chch members please keep an eye out for it, any info would be great.

Here are some pics, only thing different is that now it has STi covers instead of the fog lights

What's the chance of getting it back in one piece? I can't imagine they would have treated it very nicely, screaming out of my drive way and dwon the road on a cold engine :-[

Insurance company told me 90% of the time the car is recovered within 14 days.

****e mate, I'll keep an eye out for it sorry to hear bout it. My previous wrx got stolen, I had it back the next day but the whole interior was stripped along with the wheels which sucked the big one.

i think this is the worse way to lose a car. they actually have the keys for it. this really suck. my best mates car got stolen last year. havent a word from the cop all they said was they on to it and that was it
