Dukes Road 1/4 Mile drags

Howdy,

Anyone can enter this event..good way of getting braggin rights, usual rules apply 100% cotton overalls and decent helmet.

Show up at Kennis tyres (mosgiel) around 6pm tues night with car, liecense, helmet and overalls and 40 bucks. raciong begins similar time on wed night.

Last time i ran i got a 15.7 in an old rwd ke70, hoping to beat that time with the rwd wrx...

quite a popular event! some nice cars out there, Audi RS6, Holden Commodore Clubsport R8 and a GTS with a mean sounding supercharger, Mitsubishi Evo 6.5 were my fav's!

I agree. Go the 6.5 evo =D . . . good event . Was great having a well organised event. No delays and a steady flow of cars. Amusing how many people paid their entry fee only to socialise / drink in the car park haha

i thought it was average but liked the fact the std ss cleaned up the hsv gts. no new falcon though. the v8s were too quite and slow i thought

I was kinda disappointed by the amount of cars that were racing. Only 39. Last year i entered both my Skylines and they had the numbers 50 and 51 on them cos i was the last to arrive. Was going to race my brothers Mk IV Supra this year but couldn't afford the $40. Will be racing next year, kinda boring to watch as they seem too slow.

Would be good to see some of you guys racing instead of watching too.
