  1. Got the new wiring harness for my Type RA. Good lord this harness is tidy. This is after just a very quick nasty throw it on the motor. Much happy haha. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

  2. Had a SuperPro sway bar come in at work, so decided to see if it would sort my squidgyness during cornering. Bit harder to fit then the an impreza due to the duel exhaust, but so simple enough. Did manage to snap a bolt while tightening it down with the torque wrench. Only 55nm, so perhaps I should be happy it failed now instead of mid corner.... Also got a v11 STI steering wheel the other day, so finally got around to stripping my old Momo wheel of all its buttons and switches and adding them to the STI wheel. Much nicer to hold as the old Momos go super smooth with lots of use, and the red stitching must give an extra 5kw or something. Matches the red dash lighting too!

  3. Hey Gang, Just waiting on a New Zealand new 5th gen Br9 Legacy GT to arrive in my driveway... hopefully in the next few days. I had previously owned an Automatic Br9 LGT however this one is the 6MT version 🤙 Although I haven't even driven it yet I'm already thinking about mods😏 so here goes I was thinking of; BOV - but the GFB adjustable for when I wanna relive my youth Exhaust - Invidia axel back. But if anyone has a suggestion for a nice tone fire away I have already brought an STI strut brace It's on aftermarket 18s Otherwise stock Any suggestions for mods to get a few more KW or even just some tips on what to avoid. Any help is appreciated homies

  5. Just pay the $20 or whatever and get an olive fitting hose end thingymabob so your factory line ends in a -6AN fitting. https://speedflow.com.au/an-male-to-tube-adapter-from/ as an expensive example, 5/16 to -6AN (assuming factory is indeed 5/16) Better than springing a fuel leak somewhere down the road.

  6. I had one of these. Ran it in the race car until someone offered me $1000 for it.

  7. Cheers for the advice, worked out at $40ish as I guessed 10-15kg to be safe Yep much cheaper and easier than finding prices through the couriers themselves. Woulda used this much earlier if I knew it was a thing

  8. Does it change with RPM? Might have drowned the idler bearing on the pulley thing on one of the accessory belts. You'll know the one when you look at the front of the motor. You can get a replacement for the complete pulley, including the bearing, for like $40 at Repco off the top of my head. I'd give you the part number but I literally got rid of the box last week after doing mine several years ago. EDIT: It's actually pretty hard to drown a stock one of these motors... the snorkus thing has a couple of strategically placed holes that are there to stop it slurping water up. If you keep RPM low and therefore airflow low you would have to be most of the way up the headlights before it took a big ol drink.

  9. The prelude is going, not because I can't fix the rust (I would attempt fail and repeat lol) but it's an expensive fix, even with a 3-500 dollar parts car, add replacing old gaskets seals Hoses overhauling cooling system alternator etc etc etc, another wreck outside my house, it's not really worth it in the end. Then to add power you have to boost an older iron sleeved aluminium block or go h22a that sits way too low so needs custom mounts plus many parts are only shared with one gen of accord plus there's bugger all aftermarket support, It pains me to scrap it but I'm going to keep my wheels and some other bits... Plus I can get my GF8 sorted out faster. Broke with two semi/not reliable cars is worse than kinda broke but with a reliable, sorted fun car in my opinion. So I'm looking for something manual, preferably lowish kms, and under 1800cc, N/A. 4x100 stud pattern suits as I'll use my Prelude wheels.. Yearly wofs sound good but older more nicer for revving/mods 😉 Was gonna go for a scooter, but too many Chinese copies, quality stuff a bit upper budget plus all safety gear, 125cc bike sounded good but I'd probably fail in the rain, plus I like picking up parts. Though if a decent BC/BF/BG/BH/GC is available I may go with that.. Naturally aspirated, povo spec of course 😊
