New slimmer, cheaper PS3 has been announced.

A matter of necessity as Sony has been losing money on PS3 since launch so had to trim costs.
I prefer the look of the old one though.

Not a fan of gaming or the v11 STI but this new vid is pretty cool.
;D
True on models up to STi v8.
Subaru weren't smart enough to integrate DCCD with ABS.
No great shame as a decade earlier Audi had the same problem of making ABS work with diff locks in their Quattros.
V8 STi Spec C's had ABS and DCCD with manual and auto modes.
This continued with later versions.
Be mindful the ABS systems in our old Imprezas and Legacies are primitive compared to the latest systems seen on the best current cars.
A few weeks ago I had a drive in the latest Golf GTI and its electronic systems were totally seamless.
ABS and ESP should be compulsory on all new cars.
They are two of the biggest safety features since seatbelts.
And don't go saying ABS is for those who can't drive.
If it's good enough for Porsche testdriver Walter Rohrl, who reckons he goes faster around the Nordschleife with ABS and TC on, then it should be good enough for almost everyone else.
;D
And to answer the OP's initail Q;
ABS was optional on the WRX (except Type RA) from the very first cars.
Sort of...
Remember a gearbox is a torque multiplier, so when you put a car on a dyno you get some stupendous raw figure, the result of the true amount of torque multiplied by the gearbox, this needs to be corrected (correction factor depending on the dyno etc.) for it to make any sense.
About time.
Consequences of getting caught are piffling though.
As well as a fine and demerits, offenders should have their phones confiscated and posted back to them via snailmail.
Put the bastards through cold turkey and keep NZ Post occupied.
;D
Effectiveness of the brake booster brace depends a lot on the car you have.
More noticeable on a wobbly old GC8 Impreza than a later model.
Braided lines for peace of mind rather than any tangible benefit.
8.3kg is lighter than stock STi v7/8 17x7.5's, those are a whopping 9kg each.
Pretty sure your factory wheels are 7.0".
AFAIK no Legacies were fitted with 7.5's.
17x 7.5 Subaru wheels are usually ET53.
The 22B was a celebratory road-going model, not a homologation special for competition so no need for a big turbo which would compromise its on-road driveability.
First photo is a CG pre-release shot of the Mk 6 VW Golf GTI.
Second photo is the Golf GTI W12.
Not likely to get wheels from the second car.
There is a production 18x7.5 " version called Detroit.
A $2000 option on Mk5 and Mk6 GTI's.
These may not fit your Legacy, the VW wheels have 5x112 PCD, ET51 offset.
Plus they are heavy at 13kg/29lb each.
