  1. not sure if this is any help funky? my abs proportion valve had 4 lines - both left & right rears feeding 'from' the abs unit into then out to rear wheels, my abs master cylinder had only two lines feeding 'to' abs unit, whereas the non abs has 4 lines from master cylinder Posted 05 June 2011 - 9:17 AM my rs didn't have abs, the gt i removed the abs system, you will need a master cylinder & portion valve from a non abs vehicle & the two short lines from master cyclinder to portion valve also (for the rear brakes), abs has only two side ports from the master cylinder, whereas non abs has four. i removed all the sensors from the hubs & plugged the holes in front wheel arches with blanking gromets found on the non abs versions, same with the rear lines under the rear seat on both sides, The Two Front wheel lines need to be shortened, & because they are coated this makes it kind of a pain but with the right tools it can be done, On the other hand you can use a 3/16 pipe bending plier & bend to suit to plumb into the two side ports of the master cylinder. The two bottom ports from the master cylinder run to the portion valve & run to the two (rear brake) lines running from beside the booster through the firewall beside throttle cable also remove the little bulb that twists from behind the speedo cluster, this is the abs light & check it's the right one as i removed the intercooler one, so then i had to do that over again remove the fuses from the fuse box, & that's about job done once system bleed.
  2. I dont know my photography terms or camera functions but i use either my LG Optimus 3d phone for quick upload pics or the canon sx130is powershot its 12.1mega pixels 12x optical zoom.... with 5.0-60.0mm 1:3.4-5.6 (whatever that means someone can enlighten me) which took these pic's a fair few months ago from & i was quite amazed with the zoom it has, not so much the quality in detail of the long shots, but i was just pushing the button not using its options. they are taken from a good hundred plus meters away looking back & the car is not moved at all, you can see all the power poles are looking so close together too down the road, the others were different angles trying to get the trees & sun setting together
  3. yip I hate mine (exeedy H/D & brass button puck) in traffic, at intersections, down changing needs to be bliped on the throttle especially into thrid/second/first with a light flywheel or it feels like stabbing the brake pedal & reversing. does its job though either on or off
  4. ^^ Yip Funky i've got some 'D2' strips which bolt to the shock bolt, no pic's of them but you can see in the link added that they are really quite a simple design showen with rubber gromets in where mine retain the metal brake clips & wouldn't take too much to make up from some alloy sheet http://www.google.co.nz/imgres?um=1&hl=en&biw=1366&bih=536&tbm=isch&tbnid=Xc_xqo-6WWd7uM:&imgrefurl=http://toptuned.blogspot.com/2011/02/d2-street-coilovers-adjustable.html&docid=_QGFqDjHqxvqdM&imgurl=http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-EoF4oepxEKU/TWD96lM06BI/AAAAAAAAAOU/5JQXY1A02wg/s1600/street.png&w=629&h=262&ei=aAoiULKIFcbZigecpIDQCg&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=83&vpy=252&dur=3746&hovh=145&hovw=348&tx=83&ty=76&sig=100778576235117386196&page=1&tbnh=99&tbnw=238&start=0&ndsp=10&ved=1t:429,r:5,s:0,i:85
  5. 'SICK BLAZD' real nice get another type of custom inlet manifold made up though
  6. ^^ that is real nice & The mrs can add it up as much as they like but until they start paying for it, I'm sure it doesn't matter its just money, they are more than capable of making & spending it too, maybe just not on tools/beer & mods but worse hair/make up, shoes, ornaments.... but its not my money ;D

    Cert for EBC

Haha The list's just gets bigger & bigger. Funny because its just another visual to destract them from finding some real hazzards like control arm bushes, ball joints/ rack arms/ driveshaft uni's & the sruff you want to know what's wrong with rather to be told oh no have you got a cert for the bov, ecu, ebc, t51r & external gate which has had the time/money & effort to install. I'm surprised they haven't tried to separate modded vehicles with another type of "lvv of fittness" to deter, or increase revenue Communism.... almost working its way in
  8. I got my XRP fuel filter from Brendon @ PRO Wholesale It's a little more costly than the one above (add another $120 plus postage or so) & i run speedflow -6an pushloc 400 series fitting & efi pushloc fuel line from evan @ speedfactor, from the pump feed to filter then braid dash fittings on the injector side to the fuel reg then pushloc from reg to the fuel return line
  9. ^^ JoKer^^ Looks like you've found James Holmes ride

  12. looks like a factory BC/F-GC single turbo up-pipe unless you're Questioning the pipe inlet/outlet sizes which look about right have you got your one to compare it off
  13. does the gearbox crossmember count as structual?? i can slide a 100mm (RHS) steel block under my car (on flat concrete surface) but the g/box crossmember is the only thing that it touches by 10mm or so.. oh & does stiffness count too?
  14. Haha cheers they are a lot nicer looking when clean :-[
  15. drove mine 800km's round trip home to stay for the heavy rain only to find my car park has been made slightly unaccesable for the sub, which inturn ended up in an awkward 300 point turn :-[ but was good to be home again 8) IMG]http://i627.photobucket.com/albums/tt352/CUDDAS/IMG4081.jpg[/img]
  16. ^^^ yip I'd LOVE to have a kpgc10 one day but a black F650 super truck stacked will be more practical
  17. Ooooo Niice rims right there dacerx, they'd look pretty sweet on a white subaru B)
  18. I was going to mess around with another turbo set-up for the rs....... but when seeing the cat & well it gave me another idea ;D maybe next weekend will be a little more productive
  19. Sealed a deal & got it/them??!! a new shed to be in for christmas, all round pretty stoked so money well spent 8)
  20. Reliability in my opinion has got a lot to do with how you drive it & keeping it meticulously maintained. you usually get what you pay for so spend good money on quality parts Sounds like it has had the mods to let it breath a bit better, if you do go to a link add some yellow injectors upgrade the fuel pump, filters, add a wideband afr system & like most have stated handling performance
  21. could possibly weld the center of a 17/18mm nut to head of bolt & try that, maybe machining head of the bolt away & removing the rest once block is seperated -maybe what they did in stoffa's post
  22. Most dB's my Legacy ever recorded was 149dB i had a 78 honda civic 14-15 years ago that would have given that a run for its money 8)
