I have a recaro street racing seat on recaro 'legacy model' rails in Legacy '06 GT and been through at VTNZ with no issues. Drivers seat is recaro and the passenger is still factory, neither have bags. I think the main thing is the seat belt clip has to be fixed

I have a 2007 Legacy GT B-spec automatic that runs out of mechanical warranty in July so I want to start planning now. My goal is just to do lite upgrades and what ever gain I'm pretty much happy with not shooting for greater than 200kw and will probably end up 160-180kw atw, My car is stock except for the Genome exhausts. I don't want to go the DIY/online tune route. The last AK dyno showed I was running quite rich and only got 125kw atw. I'm after some feed back please and then I want to get it down to a refined list with part numbers or suppliers, which I figure anyone else can use in the future he wants to go the same route (I'll keep this top post updated) - updated 21/2/2017 Here's the basic things I think I need, what do I change? what should I add? 1. Whiteline? rear sway bar (don't need front too?) Still looking for options around this 2. Subtech downpipe ($425 including GST) $195 to fit 3. Do I need a 3 port boost controller - GrimSpeed $300 or one from Dtech (have to cut wires) - $150 4. Don't bother with pod filter? 5. ECU tune DTech (Can I drive my car from AKL to Tauranga with Subtech pipe fitted and stock tune or do I need a safe tune first or fit pipe down there) Sounds like yes but granny drive 6. TCU tune?? To be a downer, if you are doing excessive speed, 155 will probably qualify I think you may get more than a fine. More than 40Km over the limit and stopped by an officer is loss of license for 30 days.. not sure about camera.

Its only legal to use the speaker phone, if the phone is in a secured holder. So even on your lap or seat in speaker mode is illegal

Don't quote me .. but I don't think mine will bounce off rev limiter it will shift... if you floor it in 1st, it will go through the gears for you in (manual mode) Sometimes, you may manually shift at the same time its shifting up, I have had that you go 1st to 2nd, go to hit 3rd but the revs are high enough the car changes, then you change and hit 4th - think in S# it will hold the gear alot more than S does

I presume you still need a face plate though? Its separate from ac controls but the stereo itself is all molded to the existing face plate

My dumb question... 07 Legacy GTB, how much slip would your wheels need for power to be reduced by ECU. My dumb butt dyno thinks the car feels faster with my new tyres, maybe its just better feel/road response making it feel faster

They need to up the power - Ford focus and the like are all 220kw odd .. non-sti's are all wallowing in the sub 200's

So what are the element like things in the windscreen under the wipers? Are they actually de-icers for the wipers?

I got mine fitted today at Tonys, $900 for 3+1free and $59 for alignment. Went to another bridgestone store on the way home yesterday and they are all just quoting the book price of $310 and not doing special price per tyre due to the 3+1

Yes it's off tHe accessory wire of the stereo. old one was bodged solidered on to aerial.But the new one is all factory connectors except for the 12 volt tap. I thought it was the front wind screen as they have element looking things down the bottom where tHe wipers are, that I assumed weren't elements.

I still have stock radio.. it will go some day but for now I'm stuck with it and a bandexpander. Recently replaced as it wasn't working that well, new one is better in some areas and worse in others. How does the aerial work in these cars, is it in the Windscreen? If I replace the windscreen have I replaced the aerial or is there some other module to it?

For the R18's? Bridgestone quoted me $310 each + $32 to fit the free 4th tyre. Tony's are doing it for $900 total. If this is $250 retail I should be paying only $750odd
