  1. Not today as such Some momo fruit to match the steering wheel (still miss the momo fighter in my BG5) STi Genome muffler, many thanks to the wrecker in the tron who shall not be named for hacksawing it off rather than unbolting it, and sending me the sedan muffler rather than wagon version I asked for and they claimed to have. 3 hours later and various pipes and welds Actual thanks to Boon for a killer deal on the STi TMIC and Y pipes, go go Subaru lego!
  2. Why are you not staying in the CBD? The roast shop and the Thai place are good for a feed, if its real quiet you\'ll hear the banjos being played in Newlands Appears to be 100\'s of subbies in the Broderick Rd/Cortina Ave area, go car spotting? (or come and swap some cash for my BG5...)
  3. Apparently there will be a diesel hybrid soft top :\'(
  4. Was going to suggest you look at Carl Ruitermans\' v11 but he\'s gone beyond minor
  5. 17"s off and gold WRX 16"s installed on the Leggy. 17"s ready to be prepped for a powder coat and transplant to the bugeye. Put a charged battery in an took her for a spin, still dig the top end of the TT and even with crappy semi bald 16"s it still feels more planted on the road the WRX Measured up for the STi ic for transplant to the bugeye, appears everything including the diffuser will bolt straight on
  6. EPIC selection, must buy all the things 8)
  7. Id be more worried about suspension/dif/swing arm bushes and shocks etc than turbos
  8. Would you? &sort=default]http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/subaru-impreza-1998-13163038?base=1216&vertical=Car&cr=1&eapi=2&__N=1246+1252+1247+1282+1216&num=15&silo=Stock&items=[Make:SUBARU,Model:IMPREZA,BaseEnabledBadge:WRX+22B+AWD+STI]&sort=default
  9. Bizarre, I had that same thought only days ago
  10. If you cant retain your price advantage then you need to differentiate your products another way, tweak the design, use free range organic timber (that\'s a joke but you know what I mean) hell even free delivery could be enough to get you the sale if you dont mind the time and the gas cost fits into your margin
  11. As much as I lust after an STi I\'ve gone down that road with a std bug eye WRX Much lower entry cost, cheap and easy upgrades to STi bits, no insurance drama with said upgrades as they are OEM and it doesn\'t scream steal me
  12. Boom! I\'ll drop you a PM and we can swap metal and rubber for paper over the weekend
  13. Don\'t need warrant-able rubber, just 4 wheels and tyres to go on the BG5 to get her out of the driveway. Did I mention cheap? Someone must have a set of stock 15\'s with snow tyres going mouldy in the back of the workshop/garage?
  14. Yeah does seem a little odd to have that teeny third visor given the rest of the vehicle seems to exhibit obsessive attention to weight reduction, compared to my BG5 anyway
  15. Yeah have one of those wacky little visors in my bugeye, no idea what its for though. Anyone?
  16. Yeah the 97.5 ethanol blend at Mobil seem to go ok
  17. An observation You wont get many customers if you dont reply to the emails they send asking where you are...
  18. Good old 66... Check that the BOV is opening
  19. Yes... Wacky colours seem to be all the rage atm
  20. I\'ve got a BG5 cat back kicking around (well a whole BG5), see my for sale ad from a few months back for pics.
