  1. i have personally used this product on a legacy a primera and a 1 ton work digger and all are still going to this day . the primera was a deal . it was the one with red badges and factory blue with blue interior and a lsd front end . flat mate bought it for $800 blown head gasket . trteated it with this . drive it for 3 years . on sold it for 2 k . annd its only $13 you have to get all coolant out of the system first tho . eg jam the garden hose on into the lower rad hose and make it a snug fit with a rag or summit run the engine for ten minutes and once i put the stuff in in i make a coke bottle with the bottom cut outa fit tight in the rad cap so the water can expand . let the engine run for half an hour or utill it stops bubbling . http://www.supercheapauto.co.nz/online-store/products/DynaGrip-Metallic-Seal-Tite-Radiator-Stop-Leak-250mL.aspx?pid=0468#Recommendations i also see they have this but it appears too good to be true as you dont have to drain or even fluch it after . it is $57 . but if it works you have saved a thousand http://www.supercheapauto.co.nz/online-store/products/Fiberlock-Head-Gasket-Repair-946mL.aspx?pid=377800#Recommendations
  2. Steering wheel (original included and never had a problem getting a warrant , standard steering wheel can be refitted is desired)
  3. go and buy a ls1 or an automatic car without a tacho
  4. if it doesnt draw attention to itself then its fine
  5. isnt that the "chassis rail" part of the car ? ie its sealed ? and no you cant cut a hole in it .
  6. look else where . o2 sensor has nothing to do with acceleration .
  7. checked the hub nut is tight ? jacked it up and given the wheel a good boot back n forward? . centre diff problems cant be traced to an individual wheel . and if you mean front diff then even that only narrows it to both front wheels
  8. the answer is drive barefoot or socks
  9. lol go and watch any touring car footage from anywhere . they all hell toe it . it unsettles the car so much less . no it doesnt not effect the feel of the gear stick or effect the gear box in any way but the "shift " ( shift being the complete action from being engaged in one gear to being engaged in the next gear ) will be smoother and faster ps i love my light weight fly wheel
  10. why do you say this about boring the waste gate hole ? take the housing off . it sits flat on a piece of stock and run a big drill through it . ? you can clearly see how much area the flapper covers . my boost controll is a vac hose straight to actuator with a spring i bought at mitre 10 and tuned ( stopped and hooked on to things further away ) on the way home haha .
  11. use your bit of wire to hook the bonnet release yeah hardest part is finding a sturdy enough piece of wire . like you need legit fence wire . nothing else really cuts it
  12. while on that subject . what model was the last twin turbo ? the 2003 ? and was the ecu tunable at all or not ? and which turbos did it come with ? im familiar with bg series but yeah
  13. there is a lot of material left to bore out the wastegate hole . well there is on a vf18 . its like a 16 mm hole and the flap is 23 ish . took it to 19 20 mm ish and have 0 issues
  14. lol wtf planet are you on ?hijaka . its not an sti , a 250 t engine is like $300 bolt it in yourself and go . maybe do cambelt and clutch while your at it . but prolly not if it looks ok because it really doesnt matter .
  15. lol at measuring stretch on the the main studs . yeah def measuring stretch on something a foot long in thou . like the training for just about every industry standard in every thing says . "as per manufacturers recommendations" im against re torquing stuff . unless specified . you will find you are just squashing the head and can keep torquing for ever if you did . the proper clamp ( seal ) is achieved as a by product of bolt tension vs material compression . re torquing it isnt acheving anything than maybe removing some elasticity of head / block that is probably required .
  16. if you unplug the afm and the car is better/ drivable ( eg can drive it home being nice to it coz its broken) then its ****ed .
  17. wtf are you going to do with a 400 kw wrx ? is it a race car or just for bragging ?
  18. a fine for no reg is a fkn load of **** . because you have no way of getting out of paying the due rego anyway . so regardless of if you have paid it or not at that time you will end up paying the reg for the time the vehicle is in your name
  19. because a vfanything which 90 % of us have isnt any good at 35 psi
  20. 95 and 91 is common crap from that can be made anywhere . bp 98 is not made in nz and is genuinely better sounds to me like they have a quantity of something that should be 98 but didnt cut the mustard so they watered it down even further and hocking it off . although it could be tied in with that stuff from last year about removing 98 from select garages due to a permenant shortage of it
  21. yeah i learnt when i was young . and it was someone elses car haha
  22. nah itll work for ages . rb ones seem to have a habbit of seizing if you hold them on full lock while doin burnouts lol . actually a lot of pumps do .
  23. ive tried to save them before( stripped it and polished internals etc ) but it didnt achieve much . have you checked fluid level ? given they are all the same and easy to replace id just flick it
  24. typical female . your stupid and its everyone elses fault
