  1. Where’s the alternator cover to go with it though 🤔
  2. Yeah there’s nothing of decent size that is compatible. The biggest is the somewhat new TD04HLX-21TK that is apparently good for 350-380hp at the engine but hasn’t really been proven yet.
  3. From memory the SSI/NZKW ones have the same internal pipe size as the STI twin scroll ones at he heads but no idea further on at the merges. That's an easy way to go as you're not pissing around merging two pipes into one with a new flange for your turbo.
  4. Finally got around to bringing this home from DTech. Just need a few more accessory pieces and it'll be ready to go in.
  5. True. I've never bothered actually looking at them before but know the US folks seem to cut up their guard liners to have direct flow to supposedly keep pressure low around the wheels rather than the engine bay
  6. You mean the fake openings just behind the wheels? Most of these aftermarket ones are somewhat vented anyway so could still allow some airflow with the lower vents opened up
  7. The factory ones on VA’s look super trash. It's like the black material under the hood. Though at least they have something there, the GR/GV’s have a big gap that i’ve dropped a few bolts down into on mine
  8. I haven't done one yet but I've always thought the later ones were deemed a non-serviceable item and that a whole new hub assembly was needed.
  9. What part of the country are you in?
  10. I've just seen old Marky is out and about doing some tuning just not on here so anyone after rev D stuff might get lucky messaging him on FB https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/550913562588472/
  11. Damn it why can't I be content with repco supercheap stuff, my low profile Torin one was many many hundreds of dollars 🙄
  12. Got any pics of the issue area? They shouldn't have any noticeable rattle at all. I'd guess a few clips/bolts are missing somewhere.
  13. Nice. I assume you're familiar with the process for the Tactrix/openecu and deleting the codes?
  14. What kind of power are you expecting to push? The factory ones do pretty well with the stock turbo and other bolt on upgrades.
  15. Not really sure. I feel like Raptor only ever do super small runs that sell out almost instantly so finding some in stock somewhere will be next to impossible. I've seen people post asking about ripoff versions of the raptors on eBay but not sure how they stack up performance wise
  16. Ahh I get what you're talking about now. Heaps of people run them without those firewall braces and are just fine, it's one of those issues that is over exaggerated by the few that have the issue. It's a good investment long term just in case or once pushing more power but you shouldn't have any issues at all for a month or so.
  17. Why exactly are you considering not running one? Did you buy one that doesn't fit properly or something?
  18. The rev C’s can be tuned with the right software/hardware which almost no one in the world seems to actually have. I do vaguely remember An-Lal mentioning he can tune them. Look up custom culture and tuning in Auckland and shoot him a message.
  19. What would be an acceptable loss for a not so restrictive set up though? Surely just about any setup would perform a lot better with the axle back section removed, maybe not so bad on a relatively straight through single exit V7 setup but the overly convoluted later setups must surely add noticeable restriction even when pushed up a size.
  20. What adaptor were you using? I've only done it with a Tactrix before which works well for tracking OCV duty against the AVCS angle to determine if they're operating as they should or not
  21. There is a NZ 4th gen Legacy group on FB that has done a few group buys now and everyone that has got them seem happy, no real modifications needed to get things fitting like most eBay parts.
  22. If you know where it is in the trans you should be able to find it on partsouq using your vin number. Other than that I've got no idea.
  23. What kind of look are you after exactly? I’ll eventually be getting the Flow Designs lip and skirts for my hatch as they have a moderately aggressive look while being super strong unlike most replica lips out there.
  24. The V11’s with the TS VF49 or SS whatever it is, make 225wkw with very little effort, or 230+ depending on some other factors. The factory SS headers are trash so people pick up a fair bit when swapping them out. I feel like Niran’s one already had moderate cams aswell which would have helped.
