  1. Is that cusco one really blown?
  2. As much as I think you should slam the sh*td*ck in court for being a tosser, and not holding up his end of the deal. I agree with Marky, it's probably just as easy to on-sell it on here / TM / or facebook. Could grab all his details from TM and publicly name and shame?
  3. Was going to until I managed to lunch a gearbox hahaha
  4. +10 to that. While Genoms are 'nice' enough, performance gains and sound is where it's at with a full 3" to 3.25" exhaust
  5. Well, I blew my gearbox up on tuesday night? Does this count? Took it to the mechanic and depending on whats gone wrong in the box, if it's something that can be fixed the 5 speed stays... If it isn't... Well I'm getting a 6 speed DCCD Version 8 box put in it.... The v5 STi RA, AKA 'DRP' (short for DERP) will be getting a mad upgrade
  6. So it's a good thing I took that deal with you down in ChCh, but it's a bugger because cusco diff's are really quite good arn't they... maybe we can work something out aye hijacka?
  7. Yeeeaaah, Motors don't just die like that. I gave my B4 absolute DEATH at Pukekohe (no seriously by all means it SHOULD have blown up), and that still held together and that was at 160+KM. I'd say you've just struck bad luck dude, take it back on warranty.
  8. Is this the one that came out of my car?
  9. I would offer my services to drive it down for you if you wish. Just pay for gas, ferry and my flight back to auckland. I like driving haha. Either that or you do it yourself
  10. Hey correct me if I\'m wrong, but that is one of the 2, NZ New 22b\'s in NZ yes?
  11. haha yeah it will be pretty epic once it\'s done. I\'ve already received a new fuel pump, turbo, throttle body, and front mount intercooler kit. Oh and the kicker a high boost NZEFI Link G4+ Extreme
  12. Well, I\'m currently working on a friends car, and I\'ve just installed a new fuel rail + injectors etc. Oh also it was a conversion from side-feed to top feed. Aeroflow Billet fuel rail kit for 2JZ 1000cc ID Injectors Next step is to install the Bosch 500hp intank fuel-pump, replace old fuel lines and find more effective routes.
  13. It will come down to whos the better driver. V7 STI vs the RA will be a good race. IMO you should both race this Friday night at Night speed drag wars to see whos faster in a straight line. That\'s all that matters IMO haha I hope the RA wins for its own sake but I\'d go with the V7 STI! VF30 power! haha Fixed lol, should see, I personally think I\'ll win in this case... no offence BugeyeSTi hahaha Also, screw the VF30... I\'ll go hard all day with my VF23 BRAH
  14. I can\'t wait to kick your arse around Taupo hahaha [quote name='Marky said: I really like It. Love the 22b bumper on the blue I also love that your plate says derp Love the green wheels further up too, the whole "weird colour wheels" thing is growing on me Man im feelin the love today Thanks man, yeah I had a few comments about that when I was down at the SSM meet in hastings. One of the guys who was there said "I was about go have to rub one out because from the front it looks exactly like a 22b... Well until you see the four doors..."
  15. Well I\'ll try to have both my cars (B4 RSK and the RA) at the meet in Botany next week so hopefully will see you there I also love it how I\'ve now educated my friends to not call it a \'rex\' or STi, and they now refer to it as \'The RA\'
  16. Thank you Yeah I don\'t think he knew until I took it to hijacka and he was like \'yeeeaaahhh, nah shes stuffed mate..\'
  17. Picked this Beauty up from ChCh on Friday, then replaced the diff because she was fucked (at the original owners cost because he didn\'t tell me about that ) and proceeded to drive this all the way up from ChCh to Auckland It\'s a 1999 WRX STi Type Ra (version 5) List of mods / additions are as follows: 22b Front bumper Cusco Adjustable suspension w/ adjustable camber top hats STi front carbon strut brace (factory) STi Rear Strut brace Zanolli Slotted and heat treated front rotors Zanolli Slotted Rear Rotors Larger extractors Larger up-pipe VF23 Turbo 3" downpipe (which for some god forsaken reason goes down to a 2.5" then back to 3"???? So this will be fixed asap because thats pretty average to say the least) which then carries on all the way to the rear. Greddy Provec EBC Rays Engineering Stark MS 18x7.5" 48p offset
  18. Uhhh I didnt hear that they missed it! So I would assume they made it, hope so anyway. Yeah, it was Myself who got that Diff changed. Cheers so much for that Hijacka. Also we did make the ferry... I\'ll be quite honest with you... I was very \'lucky\' I got there on time...
  19. Oh your very correct in saying that a alarm won\'t stop a tow truck, but the GPS will atleast alert you to the car being stolen... That when I bust on out of my house with a shotgun.... I would like to see someone steal a car when a shotgun is pointed in their general direction, obviously loaded with none-leathal beanbags which hurt like shit
  20. well, weighing this up. I think it\'s worth it to go with AVS and NAC... Considering that if you go to NAC or Clubauto etc with a WRX STi your likely to get slapped with a excess of 1-1.2K for theft its really worth it imho.
  21. Yeah, the only issue I have with GPRS is the fact it can be jammed.
  22. Okay, so in the case of GPRS units etc. They track via GPS but send out information via GPRS
  23. I\'ve used Dynatron, and they seemed to be good. They also do a GPS tracking unit. You also don\'t need to pay $20 per month after the GPS install with them because they don\'t use vodafone or telecom for GPRS... Not to be a thread hi-jacker but where in hell can you get a 100% true GPS tracking unit. Or do you HAVE to have a GPRS tracker?
  24. Well that really sucks I sorry to say guys I will keep an eye out up here in Auckland and on my way back from Christchurch next friday. Reason why I\'ve invested in a GPS tracking unit, unfortunately it\'s come to this to try to stop asshats stealing our cars
  25. It\'s likely a Version 5. I don\'t personally care to be quite honest. I like the styling of the car and if push comes to shove because I \'don\'t\' Like the front bumper I\'ll get it changed. Right at the moment though I love the look of it
