hey i got a question for ya. my only alignment on my car has been for cert purposes so i asked for the standard 'do it within spec please'. my next alignment is due soon, if i want a nice handling whip that i can throw around without excessive tyre wear, what should one ask for?

take care bro. good to see you having fun on the track, clearly plenty to learn if that vid is anything to go by, did you ever have a driving instructor or cos ur was license paid for (ok cheap dig there sry)? a lot of basic discipline is lacking there. wouldn't be caught dead handling a corolla on streets like that let alone a porsche on track, i remember my instructor would stop the car every time and give me absolute grilling if i didn't have hands in right position or keep hand for a second too long on knob after shifting gear, if my head was not looking at corner exits etc.. take it as constructive criticism only cos you're young and can be pro by time as old as old fart like me. ps. your mates sound like bogan turds. being slightly better (or 'not as bad') than bogan turds doesn't make you smart, it just makes you a slightly more refined bogan turd.

im just guessing but could be small leak somewhere maybe on some silicone piping or whatever, maybe leak test tomorrow with some dishwashing soap anyway just cos its quite easy to do? (or atleast it seems to be from what ive seen)

LOL so true, the internet is full of those to add a note on that, the above about cruising only applies if your car is factory tuned or tuned well by someone who knows what they doing. if it has been aftermarket tuned you may wish to log some air fuel ratios or have someone look at the map. there are cases where people will tune only for WOT (wide open throttle) driving and neglect those low rev cruising situations also welcome to the forums / the club and throw up some pics of the car when you got a chance.

wow with the number plate and all haha. now that's taking the 'poor mans ferrari' reputation of the MR2 close to the limit.. have seen worse though. knew a guy in the mr2 club (i used to have one too, but it was secretly a batmobile obviously not a ferrari) who spent 50k+ to get custom bodykit for his one to make it look more like the 355. unfortunately it was with the stock engine so it sounded and drove nothing like it. would love to have a real 355 one day, was my childhood dream car
