Joined the 3.0r gang a few months ago, scored a 05 BP to daily from a cop, has a bunch of STI stuff on it, brembos front and rear

tensioner puller decided it didn’t want to live anymore the other day so ordered a new kit from Subaru, installed it then justified buying a new torque wrench for one single bolt, now it’s back on the road ready to get tailgated by all those level 2 people

Hey wassup welcome to the 3ltr gang! Lol mine did the same few months ago left me on the road side. 🤣 The brembos are a nice addition saves the money converting it now

Got her some Vossens wrapped in Michelins PS 4S.  9.5/245 front and 10.5/285 rear :)

Yo @sobanoodle that looks mint! Vossens all the tings........

  2. I was at flatnats last year and heard a EZ30 with headers, it broadens the overall sound. I think you get less engine and more exhaust, I'd be Keen to keep this going and see if there is any alternative!? Atm I like my 2.5inch although sound is only out the pipes, you don't get so much in the cabin like headers might help??

    Front

    Straight bolt-on, any version

    Rear

    Calipers ver 7-10

    "Dog bone"  adapters

    DBA rotors/thickened pads/drum inserts

I have a set of calipers that needs a Respray, all yours for seven fiddy.

I spoke to Steven from DBA last night, he suggested approach race brakes for a full kit, there is DBA rotors made for the 316 rear 2pot but with the wrx/legacy 170 parking brake. Racebrakes should do a whole new brembo kit. Considering second hand prices I reckon new could be a go? What was the cost for your conversion? Pm me if you want @sobanoodle

they wanted $900 or 6 hours labour to remove the oil lines feeding the solenoids and clean them out, with no idea on future issues if it wasnt solved. I will have to sort this out myself

    Hey any luck

I have been avoiding winger purely for the above..... Expensive! 👎

I would not recommend the one with the built-in stopper. It's got so much flex/leverage that I doubt it actually does much as a booster brace. From my personal observations anyway. I'd rather go two separate components.

Massive +1 for the rear bottom underbody brace with integrated swaybars supports.

@sobanoodle do you recommend Cusco top strut braces? Part numbers?

If anyone needs some awesome ride height for a BP5 wagon in future but cant afford coilovers id suggest the following:

Get Jamex super lows in the front

Get Tein S-Tech Street's in the back

Buy some extra cusion for the tein springs to prevent clunking when at high speeds hitting bumps

    Should cost around $350-$400

The outcome looks like the below, people assumed I was running juddies but I just managed to get the perfect height with cheap gear
