  1. The WRXs that ran greys and a purple AFM were the non-STi wagons and used a 2S ECU. Note the compression ratio on these was higher at 9:0:1.
  2. Second question - easy way to tell what type of bulb the HiD's would be? I won't be replacing them until I take my headlights off to replace all the bulbs, which will be after Flat Nats.
  3. 4. Sweet - Good to know for future reference
  5. This may be a dumb question - But can you just get replacement HID bulbs Repco, Supercheap, etc?
  6. I'd go custom as well. Get a nice core and then work out the right size piping for the hot and cold side for optimal performance and you can also make it fit perfectly.
  7. If the rims were 17" and painted a dark bronze, I'd be drooling.
  8. Sorry Ruddsy, plans have changed and I'm not able to make it tomorrow night
  9. I have yet to eat at Valvet Burger, so count me in. I'll pass on the Double Brown too.
  10. Give me a PM if you need another tester.
  11. Good as gold! But if most prefer Sat, go for Sat!
  12. Oh poo, it's a Chch Trackday that day, which I'll be at marshalling.
  13. I like your thinking, I'm keen for a coffee! I suppose this could be like the US equivalent to the Cars and Coffee events they have there.
  14. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  15. If you're on Facebook, get in touch with Specialised Auto Services (SAS) https://www.facebook.com/SASworkshop/?fref=ts Jason can hook up his laptop and take a look at what the ECU is doing.
  16. Was about 25mm on my car, but I also went to STi struts.
  17. Must come to a meet dude! Haven't seen ya since Flat-nats. BTW, are you going again this year?
  18. PM SAS ( http://clubsub.org.nz/forum/member.php?2038-SAS ) on here as he has lowering springs from a Version 8 WRX wagon. You'll want wagon specific springs as the sedans will give you that saggy butt look. I'm running STi Pink springs and the right height is how I want it, with a little sag in the rear.

    Underseat Sub

Update: I went for a JBL JC-BASSPROSL sub: http://www.qualitycaraudio.co.nz/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=7866&search=basspro&description=true&sub_category=true Mainly because I forgot what you guys recommended and figured I would get something better than a Fusion The install was very painless and I'm super happy with how it sounds Thanks again everyone for your help! Next up.. finding some components and an AMP for the front.
  20. Temp wired up my underseat sub in the passenger footwell, she works! Future Tim's job to take the passenger seat out and mount it.
  21. Just my 2 cents, but Drew's Automotive are a Flat-Nats sponsor and also some of the guys on DOBC have their clutches and seem to like them.
