  1. Well, fair enough. Enjoy your new-ish wagon! Get some photos up
  2. I do have to ask, how come you're back to a GGB wagon?
  3. This may be of help to you: http://clubsub.org.nz/forum/showthread.php?48833-V10-STI-Power-Steering-Pump&p=609042#post609042
  4. August would be perfect for me as July is a super busy month for me.
  5. At that power level, I'd be getting a Link just for the safe guards you can set up.
  6. Oh yeah sure. If it's anything like last time you'll get out of the car with a big grin on your face.
  7. That's exactly what I'm going to get Jason to do... one day.
  8. I've asked Jason about this too.. he said Carberry is initially harder to tune due to the ECU having to be set up again, similar to setting up a Link. I think. Something like that, which was a few years ago now... LostNZer/Toby, he's a Chch dude with a v7 STi Prodrive. It was Mattapo's old car and he's running Carberry ROM that had a tune by Jason, but he's since tweaked it. Well this post wasn't very helpful..
  9. Looking like it will be the 26th now.
  10. May be an idea to keep your eyes out for some STi Pink springs.. will drop the car a little lower than factory, but should still perform well.
  11. That's fair enough, I too and mechanically a cabbage! The Chch roads aren't the best on our suspension Speaking of struts.. I've yet to get the struts out of the Version 8 wagon he's got at the paddock .. I paid for them a few months ago now
  12. Have you checked your sway bar bushes? They might be dry and causing the knock. With my old wagon the rears became quite noisy, not really a knock and I narrowed it down to the sway bar bushes had become dry. In saying that I did regrease the struts, it wasn't hard to do, the only hard part was I didn't' realise the bottom of the piston thing (I don't know the name of it) that bolts onto strut casing has a lock key that locks it in place with the strut casing or whatever its' called because it bolts fully down. Richard does have a full set of STi struts on that shell next to his shed that he would probably sell at a sharp price too.
  13. Side skirt add-ons: http://www.ebay.com/itm/271582867324?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Front lip: http://www.ebay.com/itm/111096840484?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  14. Running a TD05 from an early WRX with a front cover that's been machined to be front facing on my EJ205.

    Underseat Sub

I may have to pop in one day and have a quick listen. I was planning on avoiding Fusion, primarily due to the fact I've never really heard good things about them.. Soundstream I remember being popular in my teens, but I don't hear much from them these days.

    Underseat Sub

Anyone here running an underseat sub? Preferably not a factory one. Am in the market for one for WRX to get a some mid to low bass but I'm not sure what to look for/brands to look for. I am looking at the Infinity BASSLINK SM: http://abtec.co.nz/Infinity_Reference_BASSLINK_SM Or the Pioneer TS-WX120A: http://abtec.co.nz/Pioneer_TS_WX120A
  17. What happened to the sponsors section? I don't see it at all.
  18. Well it usually is the minority who have the loudest voice. Subaru did just lose a lawsuit over oil consumption issues on some FA20 and 25 motors recently.
  19. Talk to your local tuner to see what they have to say. Chances are they'll point you towards a Link since they're far more common for tuning.
