Subject: Theft of Classic Race Car

Hi everyone

The following has been passed to us this morning to circulate around. If anyone hears of Escort parts going cheap - you’ll know where they came from. Any help obviously would be appreciated if anything is seen or heard. Just email me back and I can pass the info on.

On Friday night Alan Inglis's race car and transporter were taken from his property in Prebbleton. This is the lovely Broadspeed Escort. There are some low scumbags around. Can you pass the word to everyone in the Classic club to keep an eye out for it or for any information on its whereabouts. Brian has got it going into the Classic car club newsletter. Let’s hope they find it and it is not damaged.

Stealing racecars is old business. A few Porsche Cup Cars and some NZV8's etc have gone missing in the last few years. Stealing a Classic is a whole different story though.

Trying to piece one together with genuine bits is difficult enough. Trying to do that after some scumbag has stolen and stripped it would be near impossible.
