I'm looking to do at least one round of the clubmans series, which is the day after each of those events and is a clubmans race meeting rather than dual car sprints.

Im aiming to attend 1-2 rounds of the United Travel Winter Series at Manfield instead. Although I suspect Im going to get alot of grief for doing roundy-round driving rather than using roads - doesn't help that my cars a terrible whale either.

I'm keen to do at least one of those dates in Taupo. Haven't been on a track for a long time.

Clubman race meeting entails?

Actual grid racing rather than dual car sprints.

At the Taupo rounds they have 2 saloon groups usually - seperated by lap times. You will get 1 qualifying session and 3 races (1 scratch, and 2 reverse grid/handicap races). Averaging 15-20+ cars on the grid (from what I have seen).

If you dont already have one, you will need to get an MSNZ national race license to do those meetings.

Dont need to study too much as i found out. You could turn up not knowing just about everything and they will explain everything as you go through it if you get something wrong.

Aslong as you know the flag signals and a few basic procedures you will be fine.

Yeah Clint has his licence.

And he did well on the Sunday.

I was flag marshall at the the top of the chase. Bloody long and cold day so not in a rush to volunteer next time.

One of the the afternoon sprints (cant remember if it was dual or multi) Clint had the camera mounted on the side, when in that same sprint he tried to out brake one of the hondas going into the chase. The move didn't go exactly to plan which was good from my POV because I got to warm up waving the yellow flag.

Question though: - Did that footage come out at all??

Haha, that didnt come out :( When i got back in i was laughing my arse off that we managed to avoid something going wrong.

That must have given you something to laugh about.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
