is that when your fuel light was on and you were trying to be Shane VanGisbergen testing out the new pads in his supercar?

you dont need the AFM for it to fire up. why does the computer need to measure airflow when the throttle body is shut??

i just started mine without the AFM connected to make sure.

plugs shouldnt foul unless theyre really carboned up from previously running bad. its not getting spark if you can smell fuel.

id say they coils arent getting the signal to spark. (only if it is actually getting fuel) it should have a controller of some kind that could need replacing

yeah i find that when i replace the sparkplug controller my car goes way harder

no it was not when the fuel light was on.

when I come to lights and stop, rpm goes nearly to 0 then goes back up just under 1, doesnt repeat, just once when i come to red lights somtimes..

isnt this the throttle position sensor?? (TPS)

ok seriously, your problem is probably the throttlebody. as you come off the gas so violently air is forced to enter the engine via a fuked idle control valve that has 80s technology making it work. my 96 does it too i just dont mash the pedal so hard

okay probably this is just a different problem, have replaced TPS with a new one and dont think I have adjusted it properly.

dunno man i only have 1 coil pack so i wouldnt have a clue where yours is

no not yet, have tried to look for test mode connector a while ago but I think the owner before me has removed it as I couldnt see it, but will have a good look again tomorow. thanks

its the black plugs with one wire in each above your left foot be useful to check these
